  1. Kia Ora Maani,

Wow ! It is amazing to read that you have been doing the Summer Learning Journey programme each year from 9:00 - 3:00 pm. Wow, that is incredible! I hope that you are learning a lot about New Zealand and enjoying the experience. We are amazed by the number of posts that you have completed already. Way to go!

For this post, I like that you have given us three different ideas for ways in which we can stay calm and not become stressed. Life can get very busy and difficult sometimes so it's important for us to find ways to manage our emotions and not to get too upset, isn't it? I see in your post that you have suggested that it is important to calm down when needed. Do you have any suggestions for good ways to stay calm? I sometimes go for a walk if I need to calm down and clear my head. Exercise is my main 'go to' for de-stressing. I will also have a cup of tea or call up a friend to chat, if I need to relieve stress. What about you?

I hope that you will continue to work with us through the summer, posting activities and sharing your learning. I am so impressed by your commitment to the SLJ. It is really cool.

    Bye for now!

    Rachel :)
